I took a trip to San Francisco this past weekend and got do to one of my favorite things when I fly. That is, take aerial photos of the City from the plane. You never know which way the plane is going to fly during take off or landing or if the sky is going to be clear, so you just have to be ready for any possible shot. I took these with my point and shoot because I didn’t have my SLR with me and managed to get a few decent ones.
This was the first time I got a shot of Candlestick Park. I love how the orange just pops out when you’re in the sky!

I was happy with my shot of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and the Downtown SF all in the same view. Not bad.

And finally, the shot I’ve been waiting to get for several years, both towers of the Golden Gate Bridge. I got a picture of one tower during my flight to Paris, but this was the first time I was able to get both towers in the same photo! Although happy with my double tower achievement, I thought this photo turned out only “eh,” and my camera won’t be going to rest on anytime soon on future flights!
