I just wanted to wish all the mothers out there a very Happy Mother’s Day! I know I’m a day early, but I’m flying out overseas to Hong Kong tomorrow. I’m happy to be spending Mother’s Day with my mom this year on a family trip!

I have several special people that I send cards to on Mother’s Day and I made these:

I used the Raspberry Tart Stampin’ Up DS Paper for this card and a Mother’s Day stamp I got from the Michaels $1 bin. I embossed the Mother’s Day sentiment with black EP and colored in the flowers with Copic Markers. I also used one of my Cuttlebug Embossing folders on the white strip, although it’s hard to see in the picture. And, I guess my vision was blurry when I took this picture because I didn’t realize that only one of cards was in focus until I saw a larger version of it on my computer screen!

Happy Mother’s Day wishes and see you when I get back!

Well, another weekend has come and gone. It was both productive and relaxing for me, so I’m happy about that. I read a lot of New Moon and am almost done. After I saw Twilight, I was hooked! I also caught up with the newest season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” on my Tivo (I don’t know why, but I’m addicted to that show!) and got some crafting done. It was a good weekend.

And here are some layouts I wanted to share. These aren’t the layouts that I made this weekend, but I haven’t gotten the chance to share these on my blog yet, so here goes:

Here’s to a great start of a new week!

I’m so excited about my new punch storage! I bought the <a href="http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50072645"target="blank">Bygel Racks at Ikea and <a href="http://www.chroniclesofjared.com"target="blank">DH installed them for me. The best thing about these racks is that they are super cheap at $1.99 each! I got the 21 3/4″ ones, but they also have a 39 1/4″ one for $2.99 each. I considered the 39″ one, but I wasn’t sure how sturdy it was going to be since the punches have some weight to them and collectively, I wasn’t sure how good the rack would hold up.

I used to store my punches in the plastic drawer below, but I love having them out for me to see and grab when I need to use!

Happy New Year! I took a blogging break longer than expected, but I’m back now! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and new year. My holiday was super busy for me. To start off my new year, I decided to reorganize my stamp room! You can click below to see my pics:

<embed src="http://p.webshots.com/flash/smallslideshow.swf" flashvars="playList=http%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.webshots.com%2Fslideshow%2Fmeta%2F88586863%3Fuser%3D1%26inline%3Dtrue&inlineUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.webshots.com%2FinlinePhoto%3FuserId%3D88586863%26src%3Du%26referPage%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.webshots.com%2Fslideshow%2F88586863%3Fuser%3D1&postRollContent=http%3A%2F%2Fp.webshots.com%2Fflash%2Fws_postroll.swf&shareUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.webshots.com%2Fslideshow%2F88586863%3Fuser%3D1&audio=on&audioVolume=33&autoPlay=false&transitionSpeed=5&startIndex=0&panzoom=on&deployed=true" menu="false" quality="best" width="425" height="384" name="WebshotsSlideshowPlayer"base="http%3A%2F%2Fp.webshots.com%2Fflash%2F" wmode="opaque" allowScriptAccess="always" loop="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http%3A%2F%2Fwww.macromedia.com%2Fgo%2Fgetflashplayer">

trishalim1

If you compare these new pics to my previous pics of my stamp room, it doesn’t really look that different. However, there are 2 things from the pics you should notice that I’ve added which are really functional and make my life so much easier. I purchased a 12 x 12″ Snapware set at Costco and am now using to store a bunch of stuff. I love it because I can put all of my things I need for crafting in there and pull it all out when I need it and store it all away and save counter space when I don’t.

The other thing I’ve added is storage for all my patterned paper. I hadn’t realized how much I’ve accumulated this past year and I have quite a bit! PP is my obsession though and I’m such a hoarder when it comes to it! I decided to use a regular crate that you can purchase at any office supply store. I love this method of storage because I now have all of my patterned papers all in one spot and it’s easily accessible when I need it. I put a flat cello bag in front of each design for my scraps.

Anyways, that’s it for now. I hope my pictures have given you some ideas to get your supplies organized for ‘08!
