That is, take aerial photos of the City from the plane. You never know which way the plane is going to fly during take off or landing or if the sky is going to be clear, so you just have to be ready for any possible shot. I took these with my point and shoot because I didn’t have my SLR with me and managed to get a few decent ones.

This was the first time I got a shot of Candlestick Park. I love how the orange just pops out when you’re in the sky!

I was happy with my shot of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and the Downtown SF all in the same view. Not bad.

And finally, the shot I’ve been waiting to get for several years, both towers of the Golden Gate Bridge. I got a picture of one tower during my flight to Paris, but this was the first time I was able to get both towers in the same photo! Although happy with my double tower achievement, I thought this photo turned out only “eh,” and my camera won’t be going to rest on anytime soon on future flights!

I used this yummy Stampin’ Up Darling Dots hostess stamp set. I used the SU markers to ink up the individual parts of the cupcakes to match the color combo from the Flamingo DS paper line.

As for Paris, it was beautiful, and I had a wonderful time. I got to see the Eiffel Tower by day and night, go on a boat ride on the Seine River, visit the Moulin Rouge, admire the pretty flowers, have gelato shaped like a flower, and even visit a Le Temple du Scrap! The trip was amazing and I can’t wait to visit again some day. I was also especially excited to be able to practice my photography skills with my D70 camera. Here are some of my favorite shots:
