A few of my local stamping friends and I get together once about every other month to stamp and swap. It’s a lot of fun, low key, and allows quality stamping time! These projects are from February and happened right before Valentine’s day, hence all the Valentine’s Day themed goodies shown.

The first pic is of all of the goodies I brought home with me including swaps and the project we made that night, which was the adorable pop up can with a surprise inside.

The second pic is of the card I made for my swap. I used SEI Twitterpated patterned paper, the Fiskars scallop edge punch, and one of my latest toys, the Quickutz Silhouette to cut out the letters. I also used my kissy kissy lip stamp from Rubber Stampede and the “A Light Heart” set by Stampin’ Up.

Our little Stamp-a-palooza (as we call it) is always so much fun and something I look forward to each time. I appreciate stamping with good friends and being able sharing a such an awesome hobby!

I love the look of monograms, so when I decorated these favor boxes, I knew I wanted to use them to add a great personal touch. The favor boxes are from <a href="http://www.paper-source.com"target="blank">Paper Source and decorated with Stampin’ Up supplies.

I used DS paper from the Bella Rose pack, the square scallop punch, Typeset Upper Alphabet set (retired), and the One of a Kind stamp set with coordinating punch. I was inspired to use this color combo, Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip to match the tissue paper inside the box that was turquoise.

These boxes are really fun to make, but even more fun to give! The Paper Source has a bunch of different shaped boxes to choose from, so the next time you need to make party favors or a package for a small gift these are a perfect option.

I was really excited when Stampin’ Up announced their newest product line of vinyl wall rubons, Decor Elements. The rubons come in select variety of Stampin’ Up images and you can put them on your walls and all around your house. They are really easy to apply. You can peel them off the wall to remove and they don’t leave stains. The only thing is that they have a one time usage, so when you remove it, you can’t use it again.

As a reminder to all of the things I have to be grateful for everyday, I got the “Life Is Good” image. I put it on a blank area above my staircase so every time I go down the stairs, I am reminded that life is good!

If you want to see the rest of the images available in the Decor Elements line, click here. I think it’s wonderful to be able to put Stampin’ Up on your walls!

Step 1: Cut & Score the following pieces of cardstock:

7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ – score 1 1/2″ in on 3 of 4 sides

7 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ – score 1″ in on the 6 1/2″ side and 1 1/2″ in on one 7 1/2″ side

8 9/16″ x 5 9/16″ – score 2″ in on every side (this is the lid)

Step 2: Create the flaps by cutting like this.

Step 3: Before you assemble, adhere your decorative piece of patterned paper to the front and back if you wish. The DS paper should measure 4 1/4″ x 5 3/4″.

Step 4: Apply adhesive to the box and assemble.

There aren’t too many steps to this project once your do all of the cutting and scoring! I hope you all have fun with this one!

Hello! Thanks for your comments on my notecard holders! I’m working on the directions for a future post. I’ll get them out as soon as I can get it done. I didn’t have a template when I made them. I measured the score lines and cut as I went along and didn’t write any of it down so I’ll have to go over it again to refresh my memory!

For today’s post, I have an altered pencil holder that I bought last year at Target. The pencil holder is just made of heavy black chipboard. I’ve had this pencil holder on my desk since I bought it last year and finally got inspired to decorate it. The paper I used is from Crate Paper. I simply cut out squares, or shall I say rectangles, and glued them on. I know it’s really simple, but I thought the design of the paper went really well with container. I like my pencil holder so much more now that it’s finally decorated!

Last weekend I went to my friend, Julie’s, bachelorette party in Vegas! She wasn’t supposed to know where the destination of her bachelorette party was, so I decided to make this sign to reveal it when she came out to the car! I decorated my friend’s car (who was driving) with the sign and some tulle. Well, it turns out someone leaked the destination to her early so going to Vegas wasn’t a surprise, but Julie enjoyed my sign anyways!

I made the sign with a bunch of supplies from the dollar store, including the posterboard, garter, and ribbon. The letters were made with my Cricut machine. This was the first time I used my Cricut for such a project and it made it so easy! I made the bra with my Uchida circle scallop punches and the panties from a template I traced. Then I added ribbon and rhinestones to for some flair, although you can’t see it from this photo.

The dice were my favorite part! I made them with a variation of the “2-4-6-8″ box template. Each dice is 3″x3″ and the dots are punch from my 1/2″ circle punch.

The entire weekend was a lot of fun and my sign started it off with great energy!
