I thought I’d share a tip on heat embossing. As you know, when you use the heat gun, it can get pretty hot. I usually use a pair of tweezers to hold my piece of cardstock that I’m embossing away from my table so the heat doesn’t ruin it. I wanted an easier way, so I went to the Home Depot and purchased this 12 x 12 floor tile for $1.19. I also purchased these jelly thingys and stuck one on each corner of the bottom of the tile.

Now whenever I emboss, I can place the tile on my table, emboss over it and it won’t get ruined. I’m enjoying my “embossing tile” as a great new addition to my craft room!
