Outlaw

I made this card with the Outlaw Designer Series paper. Stampin’ Up’s Boho West theme is one of my favorites! I love the western theme combined with elegance. I think the style is so unique!
This was a pretty simple card I made. After adhering the DS paper, I used the image from the Wanted stamp set and then punched it out with the scallop punch. Then I used my Crop-A-Dile to set a large jumbo eyelet in the middle. I strung both ends of my chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon through the hole of the eyelet and then tied my knot. Then I adhered a dimensional under one end of the scallop so it would stay in place. Lastly, I stamped the “Happy Birthday Wishes” sentiment from the Fun & Fast Notes set and then punched it out with the Word Window punch.
Here are my supplies:
Stamps: Wanted
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel
CS: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Punch, Word Window, Chocolate Chip 5/8″ grosgrain, Jumbo Eyelet, dimensionals
Fast & Fun Notes and Garden Whimsy

Here’s a birthday card I made with Fast & Fun Notes. I haven’t really used this set much since I got it at the SU Convention back in July. I felt bad just having this set just sit there so I made myself use it! I love that we get free sets at convention, but sometimes they aren’t my first choice sets! Anyhow, I colored in the image with my SU markers. I used my corner punch to make the scalloped edge on the side and used the paper piercer to make holes in each of the scallops. I used a color combo from the Color Coach for this one too, which is: Pixie Pink, Apricot Appeal, Bashful Blue, and Cameo Coral.

This next card is with the Garden Whimsy set. I was just kinda of experimenting with this card and this is what I came up with. I used the Rock N’ Roll technique for the butterfly and then cut it out. I know this card is a little busy, but it was really fun to make!
Here are the supplies I used:
Fast & Fun Notes:
Stamp Sets: Fast & Fun Notes, On The Spot
CS: Pixie Pink, Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal, Cameo Coral
Ink: Bashful Blue, Basic Black
Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Silver Mini Brads, Celery Grosgrain, Paper Piercer
Garden Whimsy Card:

Happy Birthday Card

I made another card with the Cutie Pie Designer Series paper. I tried a sideways card for the very first time too! I typically make my cards with a traditional fold, but I’m always open to trying out new things!
I’m happy with the way this one came out. Besides using the DS paper, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with my “Happy Everything” set and then tied a piece of black grosgrain ribbon around the patterned paper. As a final touch, I used my Three For You Punch and added the little flowers and voila, my card is done!
Here are my supplies:
Stamp: Happy Everything
DS Paper: Cutie Pie
CS: Rose Red, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Three For You Punch, Black Grosgain, Silver Brads
Baroque Motifs

Here’s a card I made with the Baroque Motifs sets. I actually did this card for a workshop this past summer. I thought this would make an elegant wedding card. I used Pale Plum cardstock for the base of the card and Chocolate Chip for the triangle part. I ran the triangle piece through my paper crimper. I embossed the flowers with silver embossing powder and cut them out. Then I stamped the rest of the images and adhered the flowers with dimensionals. Lastly, I added Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon to the top.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Apple Cider Card

I love my Designer Series Paper! Here’s a card that I made with the “Apple Cider” DS paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog. It’s really fun for me to make cards with the SU patterned paper especially since they coordinate. For the image, I first stamped my CS with the Linen Background stamp and then the image from True Friend. I stamped another of the same image in Pumpkin Pie and punched it out with the 3/4″ circle punch. I put a brad through it and adhered it with a dimensional for that extra pop. I used the ticket corner punch for the corners and then mounted it on Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip. Then I added the brads on each corner.
Ever since I got the Fast and Fun Notes stamp set at Convention, I’ve been struggling using it. It just really isn’t my style. I was happy to discover that the sentiments fit perfectly in the word window punch so I inked the up the sentiment and punched it out as the final piece to my card.
Here is my supply list:
Stamp set: True Friend, Linen, Fast and Fun Notes
DS Paper: Apple Cider
CS: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Word Window Punch, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Silver Mini Brads
You’re Neat

I decided to take out my “You’re Neat” stamp set this weekend and ink it up. I haven’t used this set too much, but I think it’s another one of my favorites! I colored in the little monkeys and kites with my Stampin’ Up markers. I also used the Cutie Pie Designer Series paper. This was a totally fun card to make!
