A New Look
Hi all! As you can see, I’ve updated the look of my blog and website! I don’t have any projects to share right now since I’ve been spending a lot of time with web design instead of crafting, but when I do, I’ll be sure to post! Take care!
Birthday Mini Book
**Edit to Post**
I’ve added some more pics of my mini book. Hope you like them!

I just wanted to share with you a mini album I made for my sister in law for her 16th birthday party. I used the Dirty Laundry patterned paper from Keeping Memories Alive, a bunch of prima flowers and tape, the owl stamps from Sassafras Lass, and the Stampin’ Up Three Flower Punch. I’m going to send this album to her as a surprise so I hope she likes it!
The weather is really nice here in SoCal right now so I’m looking forward to a great weekend!
Cheers To You Card

Supplies: Stamps: Lots of Thoughts, CS: Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black, Whisper White, Ribbon: Black Grosgrain, Three Flower Punch, Silver Brads, Ticket Corner Punch, Stampin’ Write Marker
Here’s another card I made with one of the Sale-A-Bration Sets, Lots of Thoughts. This card is a hybrid card – part digi and part paper. I heart is a digi product from Prima Hybrid that I printed out on my computer and cut out. The rest of my supplies are traditional paper supplies from Stampin’ Up.
This was a fun card to make and I plan to be experimenting more with digi and hybrid in the future! I hope everyone has a nice weekend!
Featured Stamper Challenge

My stamping friend Mary is the featured stamper of this week’s Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS! The challenge is to CASE one of the cards in her gallery. All of her cards look great and it was hard for me to pick which one I wanted to do! I finally chose this card to copy. I loved the layout with the 3 panels with the designer series paper. For mine, I changed the color combo and used the Ginger Blossoms paper instead of Berry Bliss. Instead of the baby stamp, I used the So Sweet of You stamp.
I had fun making this card and I think cards made with DS paper always turn out nice!
My Favorite Thing About February

I know it’s March, but I took these photos in February. One of things I love about this month is all of the pretty blooms! Last weekend I was driving along the 5 from San Francisco and just had to stop to take some photos of these! All of the trees were in bloom and they were so pretty! These photos are actually blooms from a nectarine tree!
I exited the freeway to take these pics and pulled over by these trees and started taking pictures. All of a sudden this random other car pulls up next to us. I got a bit nervous at first, but it was actually the guys who runs the farm. One of them asked us if we knew what kind of trees these were. My husband guessed cherry blossoms. (I had just figured that all trees that looked that this were cherry blossoms!) Well, he told us they were nectarine trees! I think he was really proud of his trees and that we had stopped to take pictures of his hard work!
Table Numbers

Supplies: Schoolbook Serif Alphabet stamp set; Cardstock: Turquoise, Groovy Guava, Whisper White; DCWV Patterned Paper; White Gel Pen; Creative Memories Circle Cutters; Uchida Giga Scallop Punch; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Times New Roman font
I got a request to make table numbers for my sister in law’s 16th birthday party last weekend. This ended up to be a hybrid project, as I created part of it digitally and part of it with paper. I wanted to surprise her by putting photos of her when she was a kid. I found a bunch of pics and resized them so they would fit in a 2.5″ circle. Then I printed the numbers in 300 pt. Times New Roman font. I printed all of this on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of photo paper and then cut everything out. I used my paper snips to cut out the numbers and my Creative Memories circle cutters to cut out the pictures. I also cut out larger circles in white to nest the pictures and mounted both on my scallop punched from the Giga Scallop Punch.
The actuall table tent is 6″ x 12″, folded in half. The square part in the middle measures 4.5″ x 4.5″. I used DCWV patterned paper from The Stack, and stamped “table” with my new Schoolbook Serif Alphabet stamp set from SU. After I glued everything together, I adhered the numbers with dimensionals.
On the other side of the table tent, I printed out the names of the people sitting at each table. When you have a large party, seating assignments can make things so much easier! So, the next time you have a party, maybe you can make table numbers like these!
Thanks for stopping by!
