Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Card

Here’s a wedding card I made back in July for my friend, Julie. I used the All In The Family stamp set with Basic Grey Blush PP. I cut out and embossed the square scallops with my Nestabilities dies, although the embossing is hard to see in the photo.
Julie wore red shoes with her wedding dress so I colored the shoes of the bride red. My favorite part of the card is the Dazzling Diamonds. I used Dazzling Diamonds on the dress and also on the strip across the card. I adhered double sided sticky tape and sprinkled the glitter over it.
The “Mr. & Mrs.” sentiment is from the Fundamental Phrases stamp set.
Thanks for checking in and have a great 3 day weekend!
Decor Elements

I was really excited when Stampin’ Up announced their newest product line of vinyl wall rubons, Decor Elements. The rubons come in select variety of Stampin’ Up images and you can put them on your walls and all around your house. They are really easy to apply. You can peel them off the wall to remove and they don’t leave stains. The only thing is that they have a one time usage, so when you remove it, you can’t use it again.
As a reminder to all of the things I have to be grateful for everyday, I got the “Life Is Good” image. I put it on a blank area above my staircase so every time I go down the stairs, I am reminded that life is good!
If you want to see the rest of the images available in the Decor Elements line, click here. I think it’s wonderful to be able to put Stampin’ Up on your walls!
Dreams Du Jour

Hi! I’m back…again! It seems as if I’ve forgotten about my little blog for awhile! Sometimes I get so busy and posting just slips through the cracks! Anyways, here’s a card I made with one of the new stamp sets from the new Fall-Winter Collection Catalog…Dreams Du Jour. I made this card for my downline, Stephanie, who turned 30 earlier this month.
I use the new In Colors for this one (Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, and Kiwi Kiss) and the new Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. The numbers “30″ are American Crafts Thickers. I used Prisma Color pencils to color in the stamp and stamped the butterflies, trimmed them out, and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I wasn’t immediately attracted to the new In Colors or Bella Rose look, but I definitely have to say they grew on me and I now love both!
